Cast Iron Skillet: Is it really non-stick???

Many of my friends and parishioners know that I love to cook in a cast iron skillet(s). Not many realize that in addition of being a much healthier counterpart to your Teflon non-stick skillets, the cast iron skillets make the food cooked in them taste much better! While cast iron skillets do require more care when cleaning, it’s really not a rocket science and any one can learn how to do it.

One of the most common questions that I am asked about cast iron skillet is whether it is “really non-stick”. I made this video to demonstrate the “non-stick” quality of a well seasoned cast iron skillet. If you are intrigued and wish to try cooking with a cast iron, bellow are few choices from Amazon.com.
